Woods and Finishes

 Materials

We offer a variety of in-stock woods to tailor your furniture to your specific requirements.

Maple

Maple – has excellent properties of strength and hardness. A light toned wood with tight grain, maple is the choice for painting as well as staining. Maple is for interior use only.

Red OakRed Oak – also for interior use only, is noted for both its strength and distinctive appearance. With a clear or stained finish, the notable grain of red oak creates distinguished furniture.

MahoganyMahogany – has long been recognized as a superior wood for both indoor and outdoor use. Reddish-brown in color, Mahogany is a very stable wood in the outdoor environment, ideally suited for painted finished, rich looking with clear finish. Hand rubbed with oil, mahogany will gradually weather to a pleasant silver-gray tone.

Jatoba – also called Brazilian Cherry, is an extremely dense wood with beautiful deep reddish-orange coloration. Because of the hardness of the wood, furniture constructed from jatoba will endure the most demanding applications both indoors and out.

Teak

Teak – the premier outdoor wood, is also available on all designs. Oiled to enhance the richness of the grain, or simply left in the raw state, teak yields the most weather resistant, maintenance free outdoor wood furniture available.

We will gladly consider other woods to meet your specific needs.
